Hub Edition saves in this browser without an account. Your collection, coins, tickets, shared upgrades, records, activity progress and claim history stay on this domain. Download a JSON backup if you want a copy outside the browser or need to move devices.
The homepage and Play page share the same Hub save on this domain. Another browser, device or domain has separate storage. Original-game accounts are separate and cannot be linked through this backup screen.
Download a backup before changing devices
- Return to the game menu after finishing the current run.
- Open Backups & save file, or Settings → Local save.
- Press Download current save.
- Keep the JSON file somewhere outside this browser’s site data.
A backup contains lasting progress and reward history, not a resumable mid-run state. You cannot close the page halfway through an expedition and continue that same fight from the file.
Import on the other device
- Open Hub Edition on the destination device and open Backups & save file.
- Select your file using Import a Hub save (.json, max 2 MB).
- Review its partner, collection size, coins and tickets.
- If it is the intended file, choose Replace current save & reload. Otherwise cancel.
Import replaces the current save. It does not merge two collections or add their resources. A local copy of the previous save is kept before replacement. File checks and import happen locally in your browser; there is no account upload service.
Supported Hub save versions are v1–v4. Invalid files, unsupported future versions, oversized files and invalid data are rejected before replacement. An original-game cloud save is not a supported Hub transfer file.
Review local restore points
The same screen lists available restore points. Select Review restore, inspect the replacement summary and confirm only when it is the copy you want.
| Copy | What it protects |
|---|---|
| Three recent automatic backups | Recent saved changes; unchanged menu saves do not crowd out useful copies |
| Before import / restore | The most recent save replaced by an import or restore |
| Before shared upgrades | The original older Hub save before its first shared-upgrade migration |
Some copies appear only after the corresponding action. These are local browser copies, not cloud backups. Clearing site data deletes the main save and these restore points together. Private browsing may remove them when its window closes.
What happens to an older Hub save?
Older Hub saves migrate automatically to v4. Each of the 13 upgrade tracks takes its highest previously purchased level across partners. Duplicated spending is refunded at the original level costs, once.
For example, Vitality level 2 on one partner and level 1 on another becomes shared level 2, with the duplicated level-1 cost of 60 coins returned. Levels are not added together. Collection, shinies, Hub code claims and existing Survival records are retained. Move bindings and banned-move selections remain specific to each partner.
An original migration backup is kept locally. The shared upgrade guide explains how the new purchases work. Existing statistics can separately complete beginner journey goals; those rewards are not another migration refund.
If a save cannot be read or written
If the stored main save is unreadable, normal startup stops and shows the recovery interface. Download the original stored data if you want to keep it, then review a local restore point or import a valid Hub backup. The game does not silently overwrite the damaged main save with a new collection.
If a save write fails, read the visible error. Reward and purchase transactions roll back when they cannot be saved. The error interface offers retry and export for pending progress. Do not clear site data as a first response: that would remove the local recovery copies too.
If another tab changed the save, the older tab refuses to overwrite it. Export any unsaved progress from that tab before reloading, then continue in one game tab. Import remains replacement, so two conflicting files cannot be automatically combined.
Portrait menus, landscape combat
Menus, starter selection, activities and backup controls work in portrait. Rotate to landscape for combat. Rotating back to portrait during a run pauses it and presents a landscape prompt, including End run & view summary if you want to stop.
| Action | Touch | Keyboard |

The homepage embeds the game after you press Play Hub Edition. Use Fullscreen or Open in a tab if you want more space. Graphics options are in Settings if your device struggles. Hub does not require an APK or a separate mobile account.
