Original online edition only: This site’s Play page is single-player and does not support co-op. The instructions below apply to pokesurvivor.com.
The original online game supports a group of up to four players. Use pokesurvivor.com for co-op: the developer’s separate offline download is a solo edition.
Set up the group
- Sign in to the online game with your own account.
- Open Friends and add your friends by their in-game nicknames.
- Create a room and send invitations from the game’s friend/room interface.
- Have everyone join and check the lobby before the host starts the run.
Use the same original game site. Accounts or rooms on a separately hosted fork are not evidence that they will work with the original game’s service.
Experience and revives
Experience is shared in co-op. Work together to keep safe paths to pickups instead of treating every gem as a race. A fallen teammate can be revived by standing nearby. Clear immediate danger first; a revive attempt that traps the surviving player can cost the whole group.
Before entering a rift, agree that the team is ready: the official legendary guide says the group enters together. A player still collecting items can otherwise be pulled into a fight unexpectedly.
A pause menu does not always stop the team
The co-op world continues during an individual player’s pause or choice screen. The October 12 update separately introduced a shared pause when the host switches browser tabs. These are different situations. Coordinate breaks and keep the host’s game tab active during combat.
Practical team priorities
Bring attack patterns you can use reliably, watch each other’s escape routes and call out dangerous ground markers. Do not assume a formal class system or that four copies of the highest-rarity Pokémon are automatically a stronger team. Move coverage, survival and the ability to recover a teammate matter in practice.
If invitations or the run get stuck
The October 14 source update addresses invitations on devices with incorrect clocks, runs waiting for players and invisible enemies after rifts. First reopen the original site so everyone has the current client, confirm everyone is in the same lobby and check device date/time settings. If the problem persists, report the exact behavior and game version to the developer; this wiki cannot inspect your room or recover an account.
