Held items appear during runs, including in chests and boss drops. You hold one item at a time. Finding a new one gives you a keep-or-replace choice; the previous item’s effect does not remain equipped after replacement. Items last for the current run.
Hands-on note (October 15): In one run on the original online game, hitting a brown chest with Vine Whip produced an Assault Vest and completed Find a held item. The game did not show the vest’s effect in that drop message. The effect below comes from the checked item data; I have not independently tested its damage reduction, and one chest does not establish a guaranteed drop.
Complete item list
These are the item’s listed effects in the checked game. Your final stats also depend on the partner, upgrades and run cards.
| Item | Listed effect |
|---|---|
| Leftovers | You recover 1.5% of your HP per second. |
| Choice Band | +40% damage, but you can’t switch moves. |
| Quick Claw | -20% cooldown on all your moves. |
| Focus Sash | A hit that would knock you out leaves you at 1 HP (every 60 s). |
| Shell Bell | You heal from the damage you deal. |
| Amulet Coin | +50% PokéCoins at the end of the run. |
| Lucky Egg | +30% experience. |
| Life Orb | +30% damage, but each attack costs a little HP. |
| Choice Scarf | +35% speed. |
| Rocky Helmet | Foes that hit you in melee take damage. |
| Assault Vest | +20% damage reduction. |
Pick an item for the problem in front of you
For repeated chip damage, Leftovers offers passive recovery and Shell Bell rewards dealing damage. For a sudden lethal hit, Focus Sash can provide one escape opportunity, but remaining at 1 HP still leaves you vulnerable. Assault Vest reduces damage without asking you to change attack behavior.
Quick Claw can improve the rhythm of a slow attack, while Choice Scarf helps repositioning. Lucky Egg and Amulet Coin focus on experience or coins; neither replaces the need to stay alive long enough to benefit.
These are editorial use cases, not a ranked list. The best choice can change after a new move, a rift or a run card.
Two damage items deserve a closer look
Choice Band gives a larger listed damage boost but blocks move switching. Make sure the current active setup can handle the enemies ahead before accepting it. A plan that relies on cycling attacks or buffs may no longer work as intended.
Life Orb trades HP for damage as you attack. If you are already struggling to recover health, more damage may not solve the problem. Watch your health after equipping it and reconsider the next replacement offer.
Do items unlock move evolutions?
The recipes in this game require a run stat card, not a held-item combination. Do not confuse systems from another survivors game with PokéSurvivor. Check all move evolutions for the exact requirement of your attack.
